I know Southern took the first matchup 55-46
But I think Waterford is a different team this time around.
Chandler and Brinegar are playing really good basketball.
And southern is a tough environment to play at.
The Waterford interior is strong and athletic. If they play smart- it could be a real battle. Heiner, Fairchild and Roberts are a strong trio.
Would love to hear some views from both sides.
Come on man. It’s at Southern. Nothing else matters. If those interior players you mentioned or any others are hurting Southern, they’ll soon find themselves sitting in foul trouble. LOL
As I predicted LOL
No surprise that Southern wins at home with the help of the zebras to keep the other team’s best players on the bench. That’s usually a part of their game plan.

Well, that wasn't the response I was looking for.
Hopefully there is a great set of Ref's slated for tonight's game because the matchup deserves it in my opinion. Hopefully the game is decided on the floor by the players and not the Ref's. Hopefully both teams are healthy, and it's the barn burner of a game that everyone expects it to be. Waterford holds a sharp edge on the interior. Southern's guard game is probably a little stronger. I would say the atmosphere will be lively, just seen where admission is free for everyone tonight. I know it sounds cliche to say but I really think it comes down to who takes care of the ball better and who stays out of foul trouble. 2 very good ball clubs that have played tough schedules, Waterford probably takes a little bit of an edge on strength of schedule looking down through them both. Regardless, schedules don't matter tonight! Lace them up and see what each team brings!
I am a little too old and fat to call games every week anymore. The TVC was gracious enough to hire me as league assigner. With no money involved I am as good as they come. That being said last night both booster groups tried to grease my palms. I always watch games through a live feed on hudl and then make calls through an earpiece I give to my refs. The only fair thing since both teams ponies up was for my crew to be terrible both ways. Southern gets the win cuz they greased me a little better than wolf creek did. That is the best possible analysis of this game. It wasn’t cuz Howie can Reed, it wasn’t Jeff listening, it wasn’t about waterfords talent. It was all about me!
FY - In order to ensure that they were terrible both ways, I assume you avoided the boys from the barbershop in Syracuse. Had you assigned them, the game would have been a blowout. I was told the first time I attended a game in Racine, your team has got to be at least 20 points better than the Tornadoes if you want to walk out of there with a win. Looks like things have not changed! :D

The only thing changed is Howdy has been helping out. So now they have the zebras plus Howdy.

I doubt that you ever play a basketball game at Southern without having to battle the refs. This goes all the way back to the SVAC days.
